Tasered man claims police force inappropriate in Gold Coast arrest
Police body-worn cameras have captured a dramatic arrest on the Gold Coast.
Officers were patrolling in an unmarked car along Bermuda Street at Broadbeach Waters about 8.30pm on May 21, when they spotted a car they allege was speeding.
They followed behind the vehicle, when on Bundall Road, it stopped and the driver got out of the car.

Body-worn cameras on two police officers show a man, 38-year-old Matthew Gale, telling police "please don't ever tailgate me like that".
Police identified themselves and asked for his licence.
When an officer took it out of his wallet, Mr Gale says, "do not snatch ever".
A scuffle then broke out, with police declaring him under arrest.
Mr Gale was tasered and handcuffed.
Police allege he refused a breath test.
The 38-year-old faces five charges including obstructing police and speeding.

His defence lawyer, Troy Smith of Moloney Maccallum Abdelshahied, says the vision is concerning.
"The inappropriate deployment of the taser, whether the arrest was unlawful and certainly the potentials for an assault on our client," Mr Smith said.
"We've made a complaint to police ethical standards and we're now waiting on a reply."
Matthew Gale's matter will next be heard in a Southport court on Monday.
