Missing elderly hiker's body found in Victoria

Police have found the body of a man, believed to be missing hiker Leslie Southwell, three days after he became lost in Victoria's Alpine region.
Mr Southwell, 88, became separated from his friends on Thursday while they were walking the 4.7km track from Cleve Cole Memorial Hut to Michelle Hut, near Fall’s Creek.

Officers today said the body was found in the Mt Bogong area just after 9am, and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
