Police release footage of Melbourne train vandals

Police are seeking two men who urinated on a Melbourne train and then threatened a commuter who stood up to the thugs, telling one of them to use a public toilet.

The attack took place on a Pakenham-bound train as it pulled into Flinders Street station on November 22, the Herald Sun reported.

Police claim the main suspect opened the doors and urinated between the carriage and platform while the train was stationary, prompting the disgusted passenger to speak out.

Footage filmed by an onlooker on the train shows the suspect confronting the suited man by leaning inches from his face and telling him to move.

He is joined by a tattooed accomplice who also abuses the passenger and grabs his arms.

They appear to provoke him and challenge him to get off at the next station to "sort it out".

But the passenger refuses to back down and both men get off the train at Southern Cross station.

The footage has been released in a bid to track down the pair.

They are both described as Caucasian, in their late teens with dark brown hair.

The man who urinated is about 180cm tall and has a "weaved" tattoo on his arms.
