Police pursuit caught on camera after driver allegedly flees
Motorists have captured the moment a driver allegedly fled from Illawarra police in a reportedly stolen vehicle.
The car, which had been reported as stolen, was spotted by Police on Windang Road, in the Wollongong suburb of Windang, at 8am today.
A motorist began recording as police initiated the pursuit.

NSW Police said a pursuit was initiated before it was called off for safety reasons.
The car was later found abandoned in an underground car park on Northcliffe Drive, Warrawong at 8.55am, NSW Police also said.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
