Police officers rammed by stolen car

Two police officers were rushed to hospital after their patrol car was rammed by a stolen vehicle in Townsville.

It's believed the black sedan ran a red light, crashing into the marked police car, sending debris flying across the intersection. 

The driver of the stolen car fled the scene. 

Another driver was caught up in the incident but was uninjured.

Both officers have been discharged from hospital.
