Police investigate suspicious fire that destroyed home at Glendenning in Sydney's west

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that completely destroyed a home in Sydney's west overnight.
Emergency services were called to the property on Woodley Crescent in Glendenning at about 11.30pm last night.

Members of Fire and Rescue NSW managed to extinguish the blaze but the house, which was unoccupied at the time, was extensively damaged.
A crime scene was established by officers from Mount Druitt Local Area Command and an investigation into the fire is underway.
At this stage the fire is being treated as suspicious.
