Police investigate suspected murder-suicide in Perth
Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide involving grandparents at their home in Perth southern suburbs.
One of the couple's two daughters arrived at their Cooloongup home for dinner on Sunday night but they didn't answer the door.
Ernest Gielink, 70, was a volunteer driver for the disadvantaged, while his wife, Linda Gielink, 66, was a primary school support teacher.

Police investigating the deaths said they weren't looking for a third party. 9News was told a knife was used in a suspected murder-suicide.
Friend Tony Scottney-Turbill said Mr Gielink had recently gone downhill.
"He lost a lot of weight and hasn't been himself," he said.
"Both used to do a lot of walking and I never saw him walking with her in last few months"
A last encounter at the local shops is now a haunting memory.
"We were just walking past and he says 'could you drive me home? I'm here by myself'" Scottney-Turbill said.

"I thought that was a bit unusual because he drives himself."
The church-going couple moved to the community from South Africa three decades ago.
Their neighbourhood has been left feeling the loss.
"Christmas time she would invite us over for Christmas meals," Scottney-Turbill said.
