Police hunt for men who 'posed as rideshare drivers' and sexually assaulted woman

Police are hunting for two men who allegedly posed as rideshare drivers and sexually assaulted a woman in Sydney.

The 27-year-old woman was driven from Bondi Junction to Wolli Creek in a silver Kia Sportage at 2am on Friday, April 1.

"The men took the woman inside a unit in an apartment complex where she was sexual assaulted and later released," NSW Police said.

Police have released images of two men who may be able to help with their investigation.

Both are of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, in their 30s, around 160cm tall, and of a medium build.

The first man has black hair and a black beard and was last seen wearing a blue jumper with a white and red logo on the back of the collar.

The second man has black hair worn in a bun and a beard.

He was wearing a white hooded jumper with a Nike logo on the back and jeans.
