Police seize phone, wheelie bins from home of missing Melbourne woman

Homicide police investigating the disappearance of a Melbourne woman have seized a mobile phone and wheelie bins from her home in Mont Albert.

A crime scene has been established at the 59-year-old’s Strabane Avenue flat.

9NEWS understands the family broke into the home last night after not hearing from her.

Police are attempting to contact the woman’s 30-year-old son.
