Violent brawl moves from street to hospital as seven stabbed in Sydney

Seven people were injured during a brawl near a house on Sydney’s Lower North Shore early this morning.
About 12.15am, police were called to a residence on Mowbray Road in Chatswood after reports of a disturbance between two groups.
Police are investigating whether the two groups involved were known to each other.
Five males, aged between 16 and 19, all sustained stab wounds and took themselves to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Their injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
At the hospital, a fight broke out again between the injured males and police were called to intervene.
In addition, two 17-year-old males suffering stab wounds presented at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Their injuries were not considered life threatening.
A number of items were seized and these will be forensically examined.
At this time, some witnesses are not co-operating with police.
