Police are investigating claims of unwanted sexual contact between students of a private Sydney boys' school.

The allegations have been made by students against other students at The Kings School Parramatta.

Sydney newspapers are reporting that the child police squad is investigating.

The allegations reportedly began as practical jokes, including the act of turkey slapping, but evolved to include more serious unwanted contact.

"Given those alleged to be involved are juveniles it would be inappropriate for police to provide any further detail at this point in time," police told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Headmaster Dr Tim Hawkes told The Sunday Telegraph: "The school has been made aware of an allegation and is cooperating with the police over the matter."

Some of the alleged offending is believed to have been filmed and uploaded to social media websites.

It is reported that no charges have been laid in regards to the investigation.
