A heavily armed officer searches the roof cavity.
Police have pulled a man from a roof and arrested him after a home invasion in Melbourne’s south-west.
Officers arrived at a property on Brougham Avenue at Wyndham Vale about 8am and found two people there.

A woman fled the scene in a car and a man fled on foot to a property on nearby Clitheroe Drive and hid in the roof cavity, where heavily armed police surrounded him.
It took almost two hours for police to take the man into custody.
Police are still searching for the woman.
Nearby residents were asked to stay indoors while police searched the area.
A local day care was also placed in lockdown.
