Police hunt bandit after Vic heists
Images have been released in the hunt for a tattooed bandit who robbed a dozen businesses in a Melbourne shopping centre last month.
Police believe the burglar made his way into the Cheltenham shopping centre on Nepean Highway on February 25 about 5.20am (AEDT).
Once inside, he forced entry into 11 food kiosks and a cafe, stealing a small quantity of cash.
The offender, believed aged in his 20s, fled the scene through the main entrance.
He is described as Caucasian, of medium build and heavily tattooed on his arms and legs.
He was wearing a green baseball cap with orange writing on the front, a black Elwood T-shirt, white gym shorts and carrying a white Nike shoulder bag.
Investigators have released security camera images of a man that may assist their inquiries.
