Police embark on charity ride for fallen

Close to 2000 motorcycles are expected to descend on Canberra for a police charity ride to remember fallen officers and raise funds for their families.
The Wall to Wall: Ride for Remembrance kicked off in Sydney on Saturday morning, where NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione spoke ahead of the charity ride.
The NSW police force has lost 252 officers in its 153 years, he said.

"Today we get a chance to remember them," Mr Scipione said on an online video.
Nearly 2000 police officers from across Australia have registered for this year's ride to Canberra, with more than 1000 in the NSW contingent.
