Police car rammed in Sydney’s southwest
A police vehicle has been rammed during an attempted arrest in Sydney’s southwest this afternoon.
Officers attended an address on Norman Street, Condell Park to arrest 34-year-old Christian Nassar about 4pm.
Nassar, who is wanted over a number of serious fraud related offences, drove the grey Audi R S6 out of the driveway and into an unmarked police vehicle waiting outside the location.
Two officers were inside the police car at the time Nassar repeatedly rammed into them.
One officer was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Police are continuing to search for Nassar and the grey Audi, which has extensive damage to its front and rear ends.
The car was last seen travelling south on Taylor Street, Condell Park shortly after the incident.
Anyone with information on Nassar or the vehicle’s whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
