Man in a critical condition after alleged assault outside of Queensland gym
A man is fighting for life and two men are due to face court after an alleged assault outside of a Queensland gym which police believe is "targeted and unprovoked".
The 27-year-old had finished his workout and left the fitness facility on Bunker Road in Victoria Point south of Brisbane at 8pm on Monday when he was approached by a 22-year-old man.
Police said the younger man physically assaulted him and left him with life-threatening head injuries.

Police allege the attack was organised by another 22-year-old man known to the 27-year-old.
Officers searched a home in Redland Bay on Wednesday and arrested the alleged attacker.
He was charged with common assault, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and not giving police the necessary information to access a digital device.

The 22-year-old is due to appear in court on Thursday.
Police said another 22-year-old man presented to his local police station yesterday.
He has been charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
