PNG may forcibly deport asylum seeker

There are concerns Papua New Guinea is pushing ahead with the forcible return of a third asylum seeker to Iran despite an injunction from the country's Supreme Court.
Two asylum seekers whose refugee claims were rejected were deported a fortnight ago.
Refugee advocate Ian Rintoul says a third man, 34, has been removed from his compound on Manus Island this week and says PNG immigration may be in contempt of court if he is deported.

Lawyer for the asylum seeker Ben Lomai told AAP further court proceedings have been delayed and may resume on Friday or next week.
