PM denies about-face on indigenous summits

Prime Minister Tony Abbott denies he's reversed his opposition to indigenous community meetings on constitutional recognition.

Mr Abbott will shortly meet with four indigenous leaders in Canberra to discuss the proposal.

"There hasn't been any about-face," he told reporters when asked why he was now open to talking about the issue.
