Playboy model walks free after admitting drug possession
A former Playboy model has walked free from court on the Gold Coast, despite admitting to possessing a cocktail of drugs.
Azzra Hughes, 29, was pulled over in her white Range Rover on Hope Island Road in Helensvale in July, after police received information the vehicle had been linked to drug supply.
The court was today told officers found 0.71g of ice, a number of vials containing 1.35g of the drug fantasy and 0.811g of cocaine in the driver's side door.

The private waitress pleaded guilty to five charges including possessing dangerous drugs.
But according to her lawyer, her "poor choice in partners" is to blame for her drug addiction. One of those partners is a bikie.
"The last time she was married to a member of a motorcycle group and the short duration of that relationship saw her involved in participating in drug taking," Campbell MacCallum from Moloney MacCallum Abdelshahied Lawyers told the court.

Hughes was handed a $1000 fine and no conviction was recorded, allowing her to travel to Canada to pursue her modelling career.
The court was told Hughes is three weeks into a drug rehab program with Mirikai Residential Rehabilitation in Burleigh Heads, spending $52,00 on a 12-week program.
