Pippa in first ever TV interview
Pippa Middleton has never spoken publicly about her life in the spotlight or even her infamous bridesmaid's dress — until now.
The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, sat down with Today's Matt Lauer in London yesterday for her first ever TV interview.
A live cross to preview the interview, which will be aired next week, shows the pair chatting at an outdoor table in a London garden over a cup of English tea.
Lauer joked that he had to catch an overnight flight to London for the interview: "What's up with that?"
Pippa, giggling in a low-cut silky white blouse and skinny jeans, replied: "I hate to say it but I was actually in America last week ... Sorry."
The 30-year-old did not add say much else during the live cross with Today's New York studio, except to add: "I was on my bike."
Pippa was referring to a charity marathon bike ride she just completed with her brother across 12 states in the US.
The interview promises to talk about that ride as well as what life in the royal spotlight has been like for the young royal-in-law.
