Chan's execution eve wedding ceremony picture revealed

With a beaming smile, Bali Nine member Andrew Chan has been pictured marrying his girlfriend, in a ceremony just a day before he faced the firing squad.

Chan was seen placing a ring on the finger of Febyanti Herewila, in a ceremony presided over by his spiritual counsellor, Salvation Army minister David Soper.

They would have precious few hours together before Chan was executed for drug crimes.

It is one of the few images to have been aired of Chan since he was transferred from Bali’s Kerobokan prison to the remote Nusa Kambangan island.

Photography had been banned on the island and media was kept away at a nearby port.

It is understood this image was captured by an official from the Indonesian attorney general's office.
