Pet dogs found dead after being stolen in central Victoria
Police are trying to work out what happened to two dogs who were found dead a day after they were stolen from their owner in regional Victoria.
The two Jack Russells, three-year-old Sassy and six-month-old Buzzy, were on Moliagul Drive in Moliagul, near Bendigo, on Sunday when a white ute pulled up about 11.30am.
The driver allegedly opened the door, stole the two dogs and drove away.

The pets were found dead along the side of Wimmera Highway on Monday, around 6km away from where they were stolen.
Police are calling for help to find the driver of the ute and work out what happened to the dogs.
Police have released a photo of Sassy and Buzzy, as well as an image of a ute similar to the one used.
But it's believed the ute used on Sunday had a damaged tray.
