Three-year-old critical after being run over and 'dragged for metres'
A three-year-old child is fighting for life after being hit by a car while sitting on a verge in the Western Australian city of Geraldton.
Police allege a white Hyundai i30 hatchback was driving on Aaron Close in Rangeway when it hit and dragged the boy for metres just after 6pm yesterday.
The three-year-old boy today remained in the intensive care with multiple fractures, after undergoing emergency surgery.

The three-year-old was taken to Geraldton Hospital by ambulance and flown to Perth Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
Police urged anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward.
