Man charged with murder after grandmother allegedly stabbed to death
A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder after a Perth grandmother was allegedly stabbed to death in her own home.
The man has also been charged with attempted murder, after the woman's 30-year-old daughter was also allegedly attacked.
Family members found 60-year-old Julianne Egan dead and her 30-year-old daughter seriously injured about 11.20pm on Saturday in the Beckenham home.

The alleged attack triggered a police manhunt, with a 25-year-old man on bail arrested in the same suburb.
Detectives located the man a kilometre from where the grandmother's home in the city's south-east, after a 12-hour manhunt.
He was charged this morning.
The daughter was stable at Royal Perth Hospital with stab wounds.

Homicide squad Detective Senior Sergeant Keith Neubronner described the incident as serious Nine
The man was known to the family and according to court documents was on bail for public order offences.
He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
