Man stabbed in violent robbery in Perth’s north
A man in his 50s is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in a violent robbery in Perth’s north.
Police say a group of males approached the man while he was in his silver Hyundai Hatch, near Poincaire and Cedric Streets in Stirling, at about 11.30 last night.

The group allegedly demanded the man’s wallet before stabbing him in the chest and back.
The victim managed to drive himself a kilometre down Cedric Street to Karrinyup Road before calling Triple Zero.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and remains in a stable condition.
Investigators are appealing to the public for more information, asking witnesses or those with dashcam footage to come forward.
