Man is fighting for life after a hit and run in Perth

A 27-year-old is fighting for life after he was found in a pool of blood at a shopping centre car park in Butler, an outer suburb of Perth.
The man was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he is in a critical condition in intensive care tonight.
Police say he was hit in the Brighton Village car park at around 9pm last night and was found with serious injuries by a member of the public.

They said he had a deep gash in the back of his head and had lost a lot of blood.
Witnesses told 9News they heard tyres screeching and a loud thud, before a black sedan sped off.
However, it's understood the car came back to check if the man was OK.
Police are still looking for the driver who fled the scene.
