Neighbours rescue family from Perth house fire
An 8 year-old-boy's birthday party has ended in flames after one family's backyard caught fire.
A neighbour heroically jumped the fence to contain the blaze just moments before it reached the rest of the house.
At about 1:30am Rea Morice woke to find her newly renovated backyard up in flames.

After celebrating son Cash's 8th birthday, she and her three children almost slept through the danger.
"That smoke alarm pretty much saved us," Ms Morice told 9News.
"I wouldn't have woken up if that smoke alarm didn't go off."
Hearing a bang from next door, neighbour Scott Van Hinte immediately jumped the fence to help.
