Woman ‘hit by two cars’ in Sydney’s north

A pedestrian has been struck down, possibly by two cars, in Sydney’s north.

The woman, believed to be 60 years old, was hit on Victoria Road at Gladesville shortly after 10am.

She was treated by paramedics at the scene for suspected head injuries but was conscious and breathing.

Witnesses told police the woman was struck by two cars but this has not been confirmed.

Traffic has returned to normal after being heavy in the area for some time as a number of lanes were closed following the accident.
