Australian map on its hide spares patriotic calf from the saleyards

A young bull calf has been saved from the saleyards because of its patriotic hide.
The distinct white map of Australia on his hide was spotted on January 25th just in time for Australia Day.
The calf was photographed in the paddock of the Yougawalla Station, in the Kimberley, by station worker Grace Harrison.
The station manager, Jane Sale, said she hopes the calf retains the curious pattern.
“As he grows I hope it [the Australian map] stays in its current shape.
"At the moment the Great Australian Bight is cut out by his skin on his back leg and that could change," she told ABC Rural.
The picture posted on Facebook has been liked almost 900 times since it was uploaded on Australia Day and has been shared more than 170 times.
The Sale family have owned the property since 2007, but this is the first calf they have met with Australia printed on its backside.
