Parts of Melbourne dusted with snowfall
It is the coldest front to hit Melbourne in two years, forcing Mother Nature to dump snow where she rarely does.
Snow fell as low as 400m above sea level, freezing over suburban gardens, while the city was hit with winds gusting up to 82km/h.
When the storm front swept in, the apparent temperature at Tullamarine plummeted to -4.5 degrees Celsius.
