Green and gold confetti has rained down on Victoria's Paralympians during their welcome home parade in Melbourne's Bourke Street Mall, where thousands gathered to celebrate.
"It is such a record of achievement," Premier Daniel Andrews said of the 81 medals, including 22 gold, that Australia won in Rio.

Tennis star and gold medal winner Dylan Alcott said today "there needs to be more positive role models in Australian media with disabilities".
