A woman has been injured in a paragliding accident on the Gold Coast. (9NEWS)
A 40 year-old woman has been injured in a paragliding accident in Beechmont, in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Paramedics were called to the Numinbah Valley just after 11.30am after the paraglider was left on the ridge following the accident.

She has reportedly suffered leg and back injuries, but is conscious and breathing.
An ambulance helicopter has taken the woman to hospital.
