Pair of pugs stolen from home

Two pugs named Charlie and Diesel have been stolen from their home in Melbourne’s north-west.

Police said the pair’s owners had left them in the fenced-off front yard, with the gate closed, of the Carrick Drive residence last week.

He returned about 15 minutes later to find both pets gone.

Investigators have since checked pounds and lost dogs home across Broadmeadows with no success.

Charlie is described as having a fawn coat, while Diesel has a black coat.
