Pair arrested after man allegedly threatened, robbed at gunpoint in Sydney’s west

Police have arrested two Sydney men after a man was allegedly threatened and robbed at gunpoint earlier this month.
Early morning search warrants were executed at two homes in Sydney’s west, with detectives and tactical police allegedly seizing firearm parts, personal items and three bags of white powder. Two 18-year-old Guilford men were arrested at separate homes.
It’s alleged the arrests following an armed robbery during the early hours of January 19.
About 4am a 41-year-old man was travelling in a car from Granville to Guilford with the two accused men.
It’s alleged one of the men produced a handgun and demanded cash from the man.
He handed over a sum of cash but the alleged robbery was later reported to police.
Police say they expect to lay charges later today.
