P-plate driver four times over alcohol limit, police claim

A P-plate driver is set to face court after she was allegedly caught four times over the alcohol limit on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria this morning.

Police in Hastings claim they noticed an illegally parked car on High Street at about 3.50am.

They found a woman asleep and "slumped" across the front passenger seat.

The 39-year-old, who police said had been driving the car, allegedly returned a breath test result of 0.18.

The Crib Point woman had her licence suspended and her car impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1170.

It is expected she will be summonsed to court in relation to drink driving.
