Old Sydney Town badly damaged by fire

Fire has severely damaged the former tourist site Old Sydney Town near Gosford.
Antiques and heritage horse carts were destroyed in the overnight blaze.
When firefighters arrived about 3.30am (AEDT) on Thursday they found the front administration and storage building well alight.

About 40 firefighters took three hours to control the fire.
No one was injured.
The site, which closed in 2003, ran shows recreating life in the early years of the penal colony.
