Offal spillage causes Melbourne freeway lane closure

An offal spillage has led to the lane closure of a freeway exit ramp in Melbourne.
The left lane of the Boundary Road exit ramp closed on the M80 Ring Road this afternoon after large amounts of offal spilled across the lane.
Aerial photos captured by 9News showed the chunks of meat spewed across the road.

The Department of Transport said the left lane of Boundary Road eastbound on the M80 was also closed.
The clean-up is expected to take some time.
