Woman charged after Sydney nursing home resident 'tied to chair'
A woman has been charged after a 73-year old resident of a Sydney nursing home was allegedly tied to a chair with a plastic bag.
Police were called to the home on Anzac Parade, Little Bay, in the eastern suburbs, on Christmas Eve
A 73-year-old woman reported she'd been tied to a chair the previous day while being showered.

The woman told police a plastic bag was used to tie her left leg to a chair, causing severe bruising and pain.
A 67-year-old woman, who works an assistant in nursing at the home, was arrested at 4pm yesterday.
She was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, at Maroubra Police Station.

She has been granted conditional bail to appear in Waverley Local Court on Thursday 9 January 2020.
She has been sacked by the home.
An AVO has also been taken out on the injured woman's behalf.
