Three men escape from Alice Springs jail

Three male prisoners have escaped from an Alice Springs jail.

Police are searching for the men who escaped from the low-level security Alice Springs Correctional Facility some time between 8.30pm and 6am, acting Superintendent Pauline Vicary said.

The three prisoners are Randall Dixon, Manfred Connelly and Herbert Young.

They are described as being of Aboriginal appearance, wearing yellow and green t-shirts/jumpers and tan cargo pants and navy blue sneakers or black boots.
