Six arrested over SA-NT drug network

Six men have been arrested over an alleged drug trafficking operation between South Australia and the Northern Territory.

NT police say the men, aged 21 to 45, were involved in trafficking MDMA, methamphetamine and steroids across the border.

The drugs were allegedly concealed in a vehicle carried on a road train, as well as in packages that were shipped to Alice Springs and homes in nearby Araluen.

The men have been bailed to face court on multiple charges next week and in January.
