NT police search for motel assaulter

A man has broken into a Katherine motel and indecently assaulted a sleeping woman.
NT police say the intruder attacked the 29-year-old woman in her room at the Katherine River Lodge Motel about 3am on Sunday and fled when she woke up.
They are asking anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area around that time to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
