NT man dobs in dad for burning cannabis

A man who reported his father to authorities after his cannabis was torched in a fight seemed to think the burning was worse than his possession of the drug, NT Police said.

On Tuesday evening, a young Humpty Doo man called them to report his father had burnt his prized cannabis plants in a bonfire as retribution during an argument.

"The son was indignant and enraged," Duty Superintendent Louise Jorgensen wrote on NT Police's Facebook page on Wednesday morning.

No charges have been laid.
