NT duo arrested over car thefts

A man and a teenage boy have been accused of stealing three cars worth $127,000 from people's houses in Darwin.

A 20-year-old and 17-year-old allegedly stole three cars from houses in Stuart Park and Zuccoli last week.

The man will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with aggravated unlawful use of a car, possessing cannabis and possessing stolen property.

The teenager will appear in the Darwin Youth Justice Court on Tuesday charged with breaching a suspended sentence, stealing, aggravated unlawful use of a car and driving without a licence.
