Man in WA car lured a girl in Darwin

A man who tried to lure a young girl into a public toilet block in Darwin is being sought by NT Police.

On Thursday a man reported that a stranger had beckoned his young daughter towards a public toilet block at Holmes Jungle Nature Park, but that she refused and returned to her father, while the man drove off.

Despite searching overnight, police said they had been unable to find the man or his car, a silver Mitsubishi sedan with Western Australian registration of 1ARF857.

He was described as being of Mediterranean appearance, with a shaved head, approximately 175-180cm tall, wearing brown shorts and a black shirt.
