Man dies after Darwin balcony fall

A man has died after falling from a balcony in Darwin.

Early police investigations suggest he couldn't get into his second-storey apartment in Coconut Grove in the early hours of Saturday and tried to climb up the outside of the building.

He was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital where he died.

It was the second fatal balcony fall in Darwin on Saturday, coming hours after a man died on the footpath outside a CBD serviced apartment block.
