Man arrested after three hour stand-off in Darwin

A man has been arrested after a three-hour stand-off in suburban Darwin.

Police were called to a Malak home about 1.30pm after reports a 27-year-old man was smashing windows with a spade during a domestic dispute.

The man barricaded himself inside the house but surrendered without further incident and was taken into police custody.
