Man allegedly throws boiling liquid at NT police before fleeing into river
Police are searching for a man after he allegedly threw boiling liquid at officers in the Northern Territory during an attempted arrest.
Police were attempting to execute a warrant for a domestic violence offence at a remote community in the Victoria Daly region about 3.30pm on Monday.
According to police, a 42-year-old man threw a large cup of boiling liquid at the officers before "fleeing into a nearby river."

Police said they were unable to arrest him at the time.
The officers received non-life-threatening injuries and were taken for treatment at the local clinic.
Investigations into the man's whereabouts are ongoing.
NT Police said an arrest plan was in place.
"This is yet another disgusting assault on our frontline members as they go about their duty protecting Territorians," Commander Kylie Anderson said.
"Luckily, it does not appear as though they have suffered permanent injuries."
