Government work assaulted in Alice Springs

A female government worker has been punched in the face in Alice Springs.
A 26-year-old man is accused of drunkenly attacking the 47-year-old woman while she was working on Wednesday, police say.
The victim suffered minor injuries and the accused will appear in court in Alice Springs on Friday charged with assaulting a worker.
