Girl dead in remote NT crash

A 14-year-old girl has died in a vehicle accident on a remote pastoral lease near Daly River in the Northern Territory.

The incident was reported to police late on Saturday night with the girl dying at the scene.

A 13-year-old girl was airlifted to Royal Darwin Hospital while three other youths involved were uninjured and are assisting police.

Officers say the group were guests at the private property and management thre is also helping with their inquiries.

The vehicle involved has also been seized.
