Elderly Darwin woman with dementia missing

Concerns are held for an elderly Darwin woman with dementia who failed to show up to two Christmas family gatherings.

Police say 76-year-old Andrea Stranger was last seen by her family on December 20 and she didn't show up for an event on Christmas Eve and another on Christmas Day.

A neighbour may have seen the woman later in the week on either Thursday or Friday, police say.

She is described as Asian in appearance, and 165cm tall with a hunched back.
